Do You Have Skin In The Game?
This phrase has been used by everyone from Warren Buffet to Nick NoName. Generally, they are referring to your amount of investment in terms of dollars. I ask the question as it relates to your commitment to your business. Your commitment should involve becoming as knowledgeable and as well trained as you possibly can in order to provide value to your customers. Whether you're struggling to generate leads or having problems following up with your existing customers. Your lack of knowledge and training are probably at the root of your problems.
Networking Tip: What's your elevator speech sound like?
When networking, your elevator speech is your 1 minute of fame. It
provides a quick introduction
consisting of who you are, what you do, and how you actually help solve a
problem.
Here's a formula to use,
I work with____________(this target market)
Who____________________(have this issue, problem, challenge)
I help them get___________(outcome)
For example: Hi My name is Anthony Gordon.
I help people find solutions
to their fitness and financial goals.
I provide proven systems to aid in achieving their goals of getting
healthy and financially free.
Here's my card,
I can show you how to get fit and generate income too!
The information I just provided was something I learned by attending a
networking workshop.
